As a registered nonprofit organization, we are governed by a constitution and Board of Directors. The Health Centre falls under the governance of the Pender Harbour & District Health Centre Society and the society is made up of members who elect the Board of Directors and help guide the strategic vision of the Health Centre to ensure a long-term sustainable future.

To become a member of the Pender Harbour & District Health Centre Society you are required to pay membership dues. This can be paid at any time, including at the Society Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September. Current yearly membership costs $5.00 and a lifetime membership is $50.00. If you become a society member you are making a commitment to uphold the constitution of the Society and must comply with the societies Bylaws. Becoming a member also extends your voting rights so you can vote for new Directors and the implementation or amendments of Bylaws.

If you are interested in learning more or becoming a member of the Pender Harbour & District Health Centre Society then please reach out to our Finance and Administration Manager John Rathbone at for more information.
