How to connect with a physician
If you are a community member that is currently unattached, meaning you do not have a primary care physician (family doctor) we encourage you to add your name to the HealthlinkBC Health Connect Registry.
All unattached patients in BC are now required to add their name to the Health Connect Registry and when new physicians come to the community and the PHHC, patients will be attached from this central registry database.
To add your name to the Health Connect Registry please visit Health Connect Registry | HealthLink BC. You will be contacted by the Health Connect Registry Team when you have been successfully connected with a physician.
In the meantime, if you are unattached, we encourage you to access the drop-in physician services in Sechelt and Gibsons or use one of the many telehealth virtual care services such as TELUS My Care, Viva Care or Tia Health as examples.
