Services

Physician services at the Pender Harbour Health Centre are changing

Our physician for the last few years, Dr. Colin Sutton, has retired from family practice.  However, we are pleased to announce that we do have some interim relief from a local physician, who will provide services while we search for physicians for the health centre.

Dr. Catherine Bazilli will be providing some same day coverage by virtual care for people who were patients of Dr. Sutton but who are currently unattached.

Appointments will be available on a first come, first serve basis on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in December – please phone in at 8 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

Please see our Appointment Cancellation/No Show Policy below:

  • Any booked patient who fails to show or cancels/reschedules an appointment and has not contacted our office with at least 24 hours notice will be considered a No Show and charged a $50.00 fee. (see BC Doctors Guide for uninsured services)
  • The fee is charged to the patient, not the insurance company, and is due prior to booking another office visit.
  • Please contact our Office Manager, if you have any questions.

Uninsured Services
Some medical office services are not covered by the BC Medical Services Plan and must be paid for directly by the patient, regardless of whether they have BC Health Insurance or not. The fees charged by the clinic for uninsured services are in compliance with the British Columbia Medical Association (BCMA) guidelines, which are updated on an annual basis.
